Indiana Network for Early Language Learners (IN-NELL) Indiana Network for Early Language Learners, an organization for educators involved in teaching second language to children.

Ñandutí Ñandutí is a resource for foreign language learning in grades K-8. Ñandutí also has a listserv for school district personnel, superintendents, teachers, college and university teacher educators, and parents.

National Advisory Centre on Early Language Learning (NACELL) National Advisory Centre on Early Language Learning (NACELL) was set up in June 1999 as part of the Early Language Learning (ELL) initiative in Britain. The site contains resources, networking, a school example, and professional development.

National Directory for Early Foreign Language Programs National Directory for Early Foreign Language Programs is a national database of schools in the United States that begin foreign language instruction before Grade 7.

Learn Language A site that encourages Americans to learn a foreign language. It gives sites where you can learn more about organizations promoting language learning, information on promoting language learning, and where to apply for jobs.

Support for Elementary Educators through Distance Education in Spanish (SEEDS) SEEDS is a federally funded project located at the University of South Florida. It offers FLES teachers as well as those elementary teachers wishing to integrate Spanish into their classrooms over 300 activities, webquests, links to useful sites, readings and blackline masters with audio and video samples. SEEDS is divided into three modules: Spanish Enhancement, Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and internationalising the Curriculum.

CARLA’s Content Based Instruction Materials. The Center for Advanced Research and Language Acquisition (CARLA) specializes in research and application of using content-based instruction (CBI) to develop students’ foreign language acquisition. CARLA’s website, Content-Based Language Teaching with Technology (CoBaLTT), can be found at: http://www.carla.umn.edu/cobaltt/. This site presents 1) a description of what CBI is and why it is effective, 2) instructional modules using CoBaLTT, 3) CBI-based lesson plans and units, 4) a CoBaLTT unit template, 5) CoBaLTT Bibliographies, and 6) general CoBaLTT Project Information.
